This page explains what data Villa Qualia collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

What we collect

When you send an inquiry through the contact form, we receive: your name, email address, phone number (optional), arrival and departure dates, number of guests, and your message.

When you browse the site, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are popular, which devices visitors use, and roughly where they come from. IP addresses are anonymised. No personal identifying information is collected by analytics.

Why (legal basis under GDPR)

Contact form: legitimate interest in responding to your booking inquiry, plus your consent in submitting the form.

Analytics: your explicit consent given via the cookie banner. Without consent, no analytics cookies are set.

Who we share it with

Inquiry data is read only by the Šuran family (the villa owners). We never sell or share it. Anonymised analytics data is processed by Google (Google Ireland Ltd, with EU data centres) under Google's standard contract for processors.

How long we keep it

Inquiry messages: kept for up to 12 months after the inquiry, then deleted. Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default), then anonymised and aggregated.

Cookies

This site uses one analytics tool — Google Analytics 4 — and only loads it after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you reject, nothing is set. You can change your decision anytime by clearing your browser data for this site.

Your rights

Under EU GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, request deletion, restrict its use, object to processing, and request portability. To exercise any of these, email info@villaqualia.com — we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) at azop.hr.
